Ridvan joins us from the University of Alabama, where he recently earned his PhD in Operations Management. Ridvan has extensively researched EV freight logistics and megawatt charging station design. He has co-authored 10 articles on EV charging, supply chain modeling, and other topics. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Operations Management, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. Ridvan is an INFORMS member and a past president of the Turkish Student Association (TSA) at the University of Alabama. Previously, Ridvan earned his BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and in Computer Science from Antalya International University. As a student in Turkey, Ridvan was a medalist in the National Mathematical Olympiads and in the National Elementary Mathematical Olympiads. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and camping.
