Steve is the CEO of Princeton Consultants, which he founded in 1981 after graduating from Princeton University. The firm blends AI and Optimization, software development, and management consulting to help executives achieve transformational improvement. As a trusted advisor, technologist, strategist, system architect, project director and quality officer, Steve works with leaders of many of the best-managed, most innovative companies and with organizations such as the US Census Bureau, with whom Steve became an INFORMS Edelman Laureate in 2022 for helping optimize the 2020 US Census.
Steve is the author of The Optimization Edge: Reinventing Decision Making to Maximize All Your Company’s Assets, which explains optimization to a general business executive. The book is available on Amazon Kindle. Steve regularly publishes and presents on best practices in AI and Optimization, and on emerging technologies and digital disruption.
