Kieran joins us from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a BS with an Engineering Physics major and an Applied Mathematics minor. At NIST (the National Institute of Standards & Technology) in an optical physics lab, Kieran researched a new material for a supercontinuum waveguide that combs light frequencies, and he was the primary author of an article on the findings. Kieran was the lead developer of a mobile software application that organizes chores among college roommates. For outstanding academics, he earned two scholarships. Kieran grew up in southern Colorado and was the valedictorian of his class at Glenwood Springs High School. He is a professional basketball fan and enjoys online gaming, rafting, hiking, and other outdoor recreation.
